There are just a few weeks until the latest production by Newtown Musical Theatre Company hits the stage.
The Sound of Music will be performed at The Hafren on Thursday, 4 April at 7.30pm, Friday, 5 April at 7.30pm, and Saturday, 6 April at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
The Saturday matinee will be signed by BSL signer, Cheryl Walker.
"The Sound of Music is arguably one of the most famous musicals of all time, and a shining example of the brilliant partnership between composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Oscar Hammerstein," said Craig Harris of the theatre company.
"With such famous songs as 'My Favourite Things,' 'Sixteen Going on Seventeen' and the titular, 'The Sound of Music,' the show is both well-known and beloved and the company are excited to bring it to Newtown."
"Almost everyone knows the movie," says director Kristen Roach. "But seeing it live on stage is experience that can't be missed."
