Newtown residents are being invited to become a volunteer at one of the area's major tourist attractions.
Powis Castle at Welshpool is hosting a volunteer open day on Saturday (2 March) to allow people to find out more about the opportunities to help at the National Trust property.
The event takes place between 10am and 1pm.
From tour guides and events assistants to drivers and room guides, a range of volunteer roles are being offered.
Alison Dunne, Volunteering and Community Involvement Co-ordinator at Powis Castle said: “We have an exciting new programme at Powis this year and lots of interesting opportunities to match.
"Whether it’s welcoming visitors to our outstanding gardens or helping with our extensive events programme, there’s something for everyone. We’re always open to suggestions too, so if you have other skills to offer come along and have a chat."
