Newtown businesses are being offered a chance to comment on Powys County Council ’s revenue budget for the coming financial year.
In the past business ratepayers and their representatives have been invited to a public meeting at County Hall, Llandrindod Wells to comment on the council’s revenue budget.
This year the council is now inviting businesses to comment on the 2019/20 revenue budget as part of an online consultation exercise.
Cabinet Member for Finance, Councillor Aled Davies said: “The budget is important for business throughout the county and by providing an opportunity for businesses to express their views online everyone has the same opportunity to comment no matter where they are based.”
Those who want to find out more and comment on the budget should visit the council’s website and follow the link: www.powys.gov.uk
The consultation will run until
