Police investigate theft of large gas barbecue from property

Thieves have stolen a large barbecue from the rear of a property in Broad Street, Newtown.

Police said the barbecue had been left unsecured in a rear yard at the property. They have not given details on which property it is.

The theft occurred between 8am on Thursday and 6pm on Friday.

Anyone with information is asked to call PC 1003 Clarke on 101, asking for extension 23600.
