MP to return to work on Tuesday after op

Montgomeryshire MP Glyn Davies has vowed to be back at Westminster on Tuesday, after declaring this morning’s operation on his back as a success.

Mr Davies, who lives at Berriew, was quick to reassure constituents this afternoon that his operation went well and is hoping to be released from the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital on Sunday.

Posting on his Facebook page, Mr Davies said: “The operation went really well. Should be home on Sunday. Will toast the royal couple with hospital water. Hoping to be down at Westminster on Tuesday.”
