Nominations are to be opened today for a fourth time for two Newtown Town Council wards.
The town council is attempting not to co-opt members on to the council, but attempts to have people nominated for North and Central wards have failed on three previous attempts, forcing Powys County Council’s Returning Officer to open nominations for the fourth time.
