The intrigue of diamonds will be the subject of a talk at the next meeting of The University of the Third Age in Newtown.
The group is targeted at the over-50s and holds its meetings on the first Wednesday of each month. The next one is on 6 February between 10am and 12noon.
Martin Carruthers will give the talk to the group, with a raffle, refreshments and free parking at Plas Dolerw in Milford Road.
The group also has special interest groups for film, technology, luncheon, gardening and other activities.
