Transient Lunar Phenomena to be discussed

Newtown Astronomy Society will be focussing on 'transient lunar phenomena' at their next meeting on Saturday.

The society, which is meeting at The Crypt in Newtown Catholic Church at 7pm, will hear from Tony Cook of Aberystwyth University talk about TLP.

TLP is a short-lived light, colour of change in appearance on the surface of the moon.

Non-members can attend the meeting for a fee of £3.50, while annual membership is £20 for 10 meetings a year.
