A Newtown primary school pupil has won a competition to design the Christmas card used by Montgomeryshire AM, Russell George.
Madison Davies, who attends Treowen Primary School, won the annual competition.
“Over the eight years in which I have run my Christmas card competition, I have I received entries of a very high standard.
“Madison Davies designed a lovely picture which encapsulated the spirit of Christmas and I was pleased to be able to visit her at Treowen School to present her with a certificate and congratulate her in person at the School Assembly.”
He added: “My Christmas cards have now been printed and I’ve been busy writing cards which I’ll be sending out to organisations and individuals not just in Montgomeryshire but across Wales.”
