Police are concerned about Rebecca Finning, who has been reported missing from her home in Vaynor, Newtown.
The 49-year-old was due at a work appointment in Machynlleth yesterday but did not attend.
She was last sighted at around 9.50pm last night at a shop in Carno, before heading in the Caersws direction.
She is believed to be driving a grey Renault Clio with the registration plate LV07 UPZ, and police would particularly like to hear from anyone who has seen this car.
