More "drop-in" help for the over-54s

More “drop in” events for free support helping over 54-year-olds into work, voluntary work, self-employment or training are to be held locally.
 
Workways+ Powys is a project that gives free, individual and tailored support to help people into employment or self-employment. 
 
"It’s open to people across Powys who are aged 54 and older and who are not currently working or registered unemployed," said Janet Davies of the scheme.

Delivered by PRIME Cymru and funded by the European Social Fund and Powys County Council, the free support can include one-to-one help with online and traditional job-seeking, interview skills, CV writing, sourcing trial work placements, training, basic IT, voluntary work or guidance on setting-up in business.

Llanfair Library, 6th November 2018, 10am – 12 noon

Newtown Library, 8th and 15 November 2018, 11am1pm`

Llanfyllin Library, 6th November 2018, 2pm3pm

Affinity Homecare office, Newtown, 31st October 2018, 10am1pm

Bear Lanes entrance, Newtown, 27th November 2018, 9.30am – 1pm
