Orienteering day to be held during half-term

An orienteering day is being organised during half-term at Gregynog Hall, Tregynon.

Mid Wales Orienteering Club and Powys Sports Development have teamed up to hold the event on 1 November from 10.30am.

There will be a variety of routes available with advice and training provided by qualified members from both organisations.

These include a white course, recommended for Year 3 and 4 children, through to a Long Yellow Course for adults.

“It will be a lot of fun and a great thing for the family to do during the half term,” said a spokesperson.

It will cost £2 for adults and £1 for children with families costing £3 to take part. There is an additional cost of £2.50 to park on site.
