A Newtown charity has benefited from the sixth annual Powys Charity Tattoo Convention.
The event, held in Llanidloes, raised over £4,000.
The funds were shared between Newtown-based Montgomeryshire Family Crisis Centre, The Royal British Legion and St Johns Ambulance. There was also a raffle to raise funds to replace the Llanidloes community centre’s roof.
Fleur Frantz-Morgans, who represented Montgomeryshire Family Crisis Centre over the weekend, said: "Huge thanks to X-Angelus Studio for their continued support, it was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend and we were proud to be one of the chosen charities.
"It was a great opportunity for us to not only raise much-needed funds but also raise awareness of our local domestic abuse services supporting men, women and their children in the North Powys area."
There was plenty of local talent, entertaining all who attended the fun-filled family weekend, as well as stalls, a snake charmer, street magician.
A special performance from the Dragonette Ladies was held in memory of local lady and fundraiser, Irene Crowther, who recently passed away, raising funds for Llanidloes Hospital Palliative Care Unit, a charity close to Irene’s heart.

"You all helped us to raise a record-breaking £4000 for charity; we are looking forward to next year’s event on 6th 7th July 2019 already, so put the dates in your diary."
