Children are being offered the chance to perform in Newtown Musical Theatre Company's next production of Joseph.

NMTC are busy rehearsing for their next production - Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’, which will be performed in the Hafren from the 17th – 20th October this year.

The show includes a children’s choir throughout, and NMTC is offering the opportunity for children aged 9 – 12 in Newtown and the surrounding area to join them on stage as part of the ‘Joseph Choir’ for the show.
The first ‘Joseph Choir’ rehearsal will take place in Treowen School, Newtown from 2pm until 5pm on Sunday 8th July.

"If your child would be interested in taking part, please come along on this date. During the first half hour, the show’s Directors will give an introduction to the show and what will be required. Then, the first rehearsal will start, ending at 5pm," said a theatre company spokesperson.

Further information on rehearsal dates and times is available on the NMTC website,
