Motorcyclist injured in road crash

A motorcyclist has been injured after coming off his machine near Newtown.

Police came across the crashed motorcycle and injured motorcyclist after witnessing his riding earlier on the A483 near Dolfor.

The Newtown Road Policing Team said:  “Two independent motorists affected by this bike’s riding and witnessed by police. Then came across it like this.

“Dyfed Powys roads are not race tracks and this is generally what happens when they are used as such.”

It is understood the motorcyclist was not seriously injured in the incident yesterday. The road was closed for a short time while police investigated the incident.
