Crowds are expected to turn out for Newtown Carnival.
The annual event is expected to attract hundreds of people on to the streets to see the procession of floats before the party starts at the Town Hall Grounds where a host of events are planned.
Here's the timetable for the day:
Judging of the floats will take place in Lower Canal Road at 11.45am, with floats meeting there at 11.15am.
The main procession leaves Lower Canal Road at 12.30pm, heading to Cambrian Way, Commercial Street, Longbridge Street, Broad Street, High Street and then into Back Lane.
Events will start on the Carnival Field at the Town Hall Grounds from 12.30pm, with a march by Newtown Silver Band beginning at 1.30pm, followed by the crowning of the queen at 1.45pm.
The winners of the float and pedestrian categories will be announced at 2pm.
The carnival field will have stalls, entertainment and music.
