More than £15,000 worth of jewellery has been stolen from a property in Newtown.
A burglary occured at a property in the Newtown area on Friday between 7.15am and 7.30pm when five one-of-a-kind gold bangles, worth between £2,500 and £4,000 each, and one pair of diamond stud earrings, worth £2,000, were all taken.
Police have not said where the house is in the town.
"Officers suspect the jewellery could be sold on in either Shrewsbury or Wrexham areas," said PC Owain Jarrett of Newtown Police who is investigating.
