Newtown manager Chris Hughes will need to start a rebuilding job ahead of next season’s Welsh Premier League campaign with three defenders leaving the club.

Jamie Price has called time on his Latham Park career by announcing his retirement from the game. Price made 123 appearances for the Robins in two spells but has been troubled by injury this season.

Meanwhile defenders Ryan Sears and Callum Roberts have gone back to their parent club after spending the season on loan at Latham Park.

Sears arrived at Latham Park on loan from Shrewsbury Town last summer, and has gone on to score twice in 31 appearances for the club.

Roberts followed his club team mate from the Shrews in January, after spending the first half of the campaign with The New Saints. He made ten starts for the Robins, with two substitute appearances and one goal during his time.
