A drop-in providing advice and for free support for over 54s getting back into work, voluntary work, self-employment or training:

Workways+ Powys is a project that gives free, individual and tailored support to help people into employment or self-employment.

A drop-in session will take place on Thursday 3 May between 10am and 12noon at Newtown Library.

"It’s open to people across Powys who are aged 54 and older and who are not currently working or registered unemployed," said Janet Davies of the programme.

"Delivered by PRIME Cymru and funded by the European Social Fund and Powys County Council, the free support can include one-to-one help with on-line and traditional job-seeking, interview skills, CV writing, sourcing trial work placements, training, basic IT, voluntary work or guidance on setting-up in business."

To get involved contact the project Development Officer Janet: Mobile number: 07507 795048 to make an appointment.

Alternatively pop into onto one of their free drop-in sessions taking place across the County to have a chat to find out more about the free support programme.
