A place in the last four of the JD Welsh Cup is up for grabs tonight, when Newtown travel to Llandudno looking to keep their hopes of a second final appearance in four years alive.

The previous fixture between the two last month was a full blooded affair, which Newtown edged 4-3, so we can expect plenty of thrills and spills on the North Wales coast tonight.

Llandundo have lost three of their last six matches, but at home they have been solid, losing only twice since November to TNS and Newtown. Newtown have won four of their last six games.

Robins boss Chris Hughes said: “It’s a 50/50 game really, we’re teams that are both on par, so it should make for a good cup clash on Tuesday night.”

Hughes welcomes back Dave Jones from suspension, however Neil Mitchell is struggling with an ankle problem, and Tom Goodwin and Luke Boundford are suffering with knocks.
