Firefighters from Newtown have been helping get food to those stranded by the snow.
Thanks to Morrisons in Newtown, food parcels were delivered to homes throughout the area by firefighters using a four-wheel-drive vehicle over recent days.
"Thank you to Morrisons for donating nearly 100 food packs for us to deliver to people in the surrounding villages that have not been able to leave their homes over the last couple of days.
"We can’t help everyone but we have heard so many stories today about the communities spirit," said a tweet from the firefighters.
