A young library user from Newtown has won a prize for guessing how many books made up a snowman built out of books by the staff as part of a Christmas competition.
James Jacques, aged seven, guessed that the snowman was made up of 282 books and was just three off the correct answer of 285.
He's pictured receiving his prize of two junior DVDs which he hired free of charge from Lynda Hill who came up with the idea for "Frosty the snowman" and spent time building the snowman at Newtown Library.
