A concert in aid of the Powys Eisteddfod: Bro Hafren will be hosted by Newtown Male Voice Choir on Saturday, 3 February.
The event will take place at the Crescent Christian Centre at 7pm.
They will be joined on stage by the world renowned Triple Harpist, Robin Huw Bowen, who was in Newtown recently for the Town Council’s ceremony to unveil a plaque to remember John Roberts, a famous musician and harpist who lived in Frolic Street, Newtown in the 1850s.
The Powys Eisteddfod: Bro Hafren takes place at Hafren in Newtown on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 July.
