Three men remanded in custody over attack

Three men charged with attacking an 88-year-old woman at her home near Newtown have pleaded not guilty in court today (Friday).

On the 19 June last year, Blanche Rowlands suffered significant and life changing injuries as a result of the incident.

Carl Barrett, aged 50, Keith Grogan, aged 41, and Jeffery Earp, aged 50, were charged with conspiring to commit robbery and today appeared via a video link at Mold Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing(PCMH).

All three pleaded not guilty and were remanded in custody until the trial which is to be held at Caernarfon Crown Court on the 11 June 2018.
