Man sought in connection with damage to fences and a car

A man dressed in a hoody and apparently drunk has caused damage to fences and a car in the Maes-y-Dail area of Newtown.

Police have appealed for witnesses who might have seen the man in the Fern Square area at around 4am on Sunday.

PC Andrew Buckley, said: "We are looking to speak to a male, described as in his 30s, 5ft 7-8 tall, larger build, bald on top, with short black hair on the sides. He was believed to be wearing dark jeans with white faded patches and a dark blue hoody.

"The hoody had a white circular logo on the chest that covered most of the front of the top. It has been reported that this male, while appearing to be under the influence of alcohol damaged a number of fences and a car in Fern Square, Newtown. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 184 Buckley on 101 or at Newtown Police Station."
