Newtown surrendered a two goal lead to lose 3-2 to 10-man JD Welsh Premier League champions TNS at Latham Park.

A Jamie Reed double had given Newtown a half time lead, before Greg Draper pulled one back from the spot after 65 minutes.

Draper was then sent off for a kick, but his dismissal spurred his side on and they scored twice through Blaine Hudson and Ryan Brobbel to complete their comeback.

Luke Sherbon netted a first half hattrick at Guilsfield in the Huws Gray Alliance but the home side still led 4-3 at the break thanks to goals from Cook, Hamilton, Ford and James an that's how it stayed to the final whistle.

Llanfair crashed 5-1 at home to Llanrhaeadr in the Spar Mid Wales League  and Berriew lost 2-0 at home to Welshpool.
