Adverse weather closes some schools on Tuesday

A number of schools in and around Newtown will be closed again on Tuesday as the cold weather continues.

With temperatures expected to plummet to -5 tonight, conditions on the road and pavements are expected to be treacherous, forcing some schools to close for safety reasons.

Maesyrhandir CP School is open to staff, reception class, three-year-old setting, Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Hafren and Penygloddfa are also open.
