Most main trunk roads, incident the A483, A487 and A470 are open and passable, although police and Powys County Council have urged people to be careful in case of ice.

Powys County Council glitter teams were out all day yesterday and again overnight to ensure most roads remain open.

All school transport has been cancelled across Powys our to the conditions.
