A local walker is inviting people to join him for a Sunday walk this weekend in aid of a Montgomeryshire Wildlife Life campaign.
Tim McVey has organised a walk in aid of the Pearl Bordered Fritillary campaign.
"I will be using Walking Newtown's Walk 7 which goes around the Trust's Pwll Penarth, starting at The Wagon and Horses at 10:30am," he said.
"The walk is 5.3 miles so we should be back for a drink at about 1 o'clock. I would ask those who join me to donate £10 to the cause. (You can also donate if you don't come!) The walk will probably be muddy so come prepared.
"Please contact me if you are interested so that I can gauge interest."
