PROJECT COORDINATOR


Job Summary:

You will review and prepare schedules and product specifications based on information supplied by the customer and Fire Test Reports and Building Regulations in line with production plans and material requirements, liaising with clients, suppliers and the HSD team. 

You will be required: 

·       To act as the key point of contact between the Customer and HSD throughout the project 

·       To receive Customer Purchase Order information. Liaise with Estimating/Sales to establish Customers Expectations and HSD’s assumptions.

·       To undertake a technical analysis to establish the range of supporting data required of the customer.

·       To send RFIs (Request for Information) to relevant parties, and seek to obtain delivery instructions and required dates. 

·       To undertake a technical analysis to establish the range of supporting data required of suppliers and accreditation bodies & verify compliance. 

·       To actively communicate with internal departments though out the poject on updates/variances etc.

·       To create and maintain a comprehensive Project Folder with all relevant project data 

·       To constantly monitor the progress of all projects within your control, to liaise with your line manager or the Directors in the case of a suspected reason for the collapse or downfall of a plan or promise.

·       Flexibility to cover other personnel within your as and when equired & carry out all other duties as required

To be successful you must have:-

·       Must have achieved GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent

·       A level or equivalent level of education or 2 years relevant experience in a manufacturing or construction discipline

·       1 years minimum experience in a similar position within either the Construction/Manufacturing, Architectural Ironmongery or Passive fire safety industries. 

·       Proficient in ICT and competent user of Microsoft Word & Excel

Working Hours:     40 hours p/w (Mon Thurs 8am – 5pm  & Fri 8am -2pm (rota cover to 5pm 1 Friday per month)

Contract duration:  Permanent, Full Time
