French lessons are to be offered to residents in Newtown as part of the town’s twinning connection with Les Herbiers in France.
Each year, with the support of the town council, the lessons are offered to help get more people to learn the language and this month lessons will start.
“Whether it's for your son or daughter's exams, or for yourself for your next family holiday in France or even simply to enjoy learning and speaking this beautiful and romantic language, there is now a great opportunity to do so locally with a French native,” said Frederic Mathieu, who lives and works in Newtown and provides the lessons.
