Man attacked in his van

A man was attacked while sitting in his van on a Newtown housing estate early last Friday morning.

Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the assault which took place in Lon Maesycoed at approximately 5:30am.

The man, who has not been named by officers, was assaulted while sat in his yellow VW Transporter van and as he made his escape its rear windscreen was smashed.

Police would like to speak to any witnesses who can call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
