Robins hit four and Caersws win

Newtown got their first win of the JD Welsh Premier League, beating Carmarthen Town 4-1 at Latham Park today.
The Robins led in the first half through Jamie Price and Jamie Reed but the South Walians were pushing hard for an equaliser at 2–1 until Rushton made it 3-1 and Reed added a fourth in injury time.
Caersws also got back on track by winning 3-1 at Huws Gray Alliance new boys Llandudno Junction. Craven gave Llandudno a 24th minute lead but Craig Whitfield levelled on 53 minutes. Junction conceded an own goal on 80 minutes and Rhydian Davies made the points safe four minutes from time.
Carno drew 2-2 in the Spar Mid Wales League at Bow Street, Churchstoke won 3-0 at Machynlleth while Llanfair were hanging on to win 4-3 at Radnor Valley.
