Police confirm body found at Builth Wells

Police have confirmed this afternoon that a body has been found in the Builth Wells area by officers searching for James Corfield from Montgomery.

At this stage the body has not been identified, but James' family have been informed.

James went missing in the early hours of Tuesday morning after attending the Royal Welsh Show.

A statement said: "A body has been found in Builth Wells this afternoon during the search for missing James Corfield. The body has not been identified at this time, but James' family have been made aware of the development and are being supported by a family liaison officer.

"Dyfed Powys Police would like to thank the public for their continued support. Our thoughts are with the family at this time."
