Singing Snowdonia trio revealed for concert

A young Snowdonia based vocal group has been revealed as one of the performances at Newtown and District Male Voice Choir’s annual concert.

Trio Cymru, a young vocal group from Snowdonia will be performing at their annual concert at 7.30pm on Sunday May 14th at the Baptist Church in Newtown. 
 
Accompanied by renowned pianist Annette Bryn Parri, Trio Cymru released their second album in 2016. They will perform at the concert on Sunday, 14 May at 7.30pm.

“They are very much in demand and will be among the artists taking part in the televised ‘Noson Lawen’ that will be recorded at the National Eisteddfod of Wales on the 7 August 2017,” said Jonathan Davies of the male voice choir.

“During 2018 they will be making a special appearance at a festival arranged by the Welsh Society of North America in Washington DC. Further information about Trio is available on their website, www.triocymru.com.”
 
Newtown & District Male Voice Choir, under the musical directorship of Christine Roberts and accompanied by Gill Owen and Sarah Astley-Davies, will be performing a wide selection of music for all tastes, according to Mr Davies.
