Jamie Price ended The New Saint' world record winning run of 28 games with a stunning last minute free kick in a six-goal thriller at Latham Park.

After taking an early lead through Neil Mitchell, the Saints pegged the Robins back as Greg Draper and Aeron Edwards found the net before the break, and Adrian Cieslewicz extended the lead in the second period.

But the Robins were always in it, and a Nick Rushton header on his second debut was followed by a superb curling free kick from Price to earn Newtown a much deserved point.

Carno found the going too tough in the FAW Trophy, losing 4-1 to Sully Sports and the weather played havoc with the Spar Mid Wales League fixtures.

Caersws suffered a 6-2 defeat at Ruthin with Mark Griffiths scoring both the goals while Llanfair drew 3-3 at home to Flint with goals from Mark Jones, Jamie Davies and Paul Griffiths.
