A man has been airlifted to hospital and a woman freed from a car after a an accident near Newtown involving two buses and car.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the A489 between Newtown and Kerry at 2.05pm.
The Wales Air Ambulance was called out and airlifted a man from one of the buses. It is understood firefighters also freed a woman from a car and she has been taken to hospital by road.
The condition of both is not known.
It is not known if there were any passengers on the buses at the time.
The road has been closed but will be re-opened.
