Treorchy Choir announce concert

A one-off show by the world-famous Treorchy Male Voice Choir has been confirmed for March 5 in Llanidloes.

 

And such is the expected demand to see the event, the town’s Rotary Club, which is organising the event, is reducing the China Street Chapel venue from 1,000 to 800 seats for the night for safety and comfort.

 

"We hope it will be a sell out which is a big ask for a town the size of Llanidloes but we are hopeful that people will come from miles around to support,” said a Rotary spokesman.

 

A full house would boost Rotary’s charity coffers to the tune of 4,000 pounds and provide one of the town’s most memorable nights for a long time.

 

The Treorchy Male Voice Choir has performed across the world over the last 125 years and will swoop by Llanidloes as part of a huge National Tour.
