‘Disgusting’ vandals attack toilets

Police have been sickened by yobs who smashed into public toilets and threw their faeces all over the floors and walls.

 

The male and female toilets, adjacent to the Institute in Bridge St, Llanfair Caereinion, were broken into between Monday and Wednesday when their doors were smashed open.

 

Once inside, a yob has then defecated on the floor of the male toilets and thrown the faeces around, both inside and outside the toilet.

 

A sickened police spokesperson said: “This disgusting act has resulted in Powys County Council having to use specialist equipment to sort out the mess and repair the doors.”

 

Police have taken strong action previously with those caught damaging the toilets and are once again asking members of the public to support them in reporting anything suspicious to Dyfed-Powys Police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800555 111.
