Police and Crime chief to host meeting in town

25/08/2016 @ 07:59

Newly elected Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn is to host a business breakfast near Newtown to discuss his Police and Crime Plan next month.

Since being elected in May, one of the first tasks is to issue a Police and Crime Plan that sets out his strategic objectives over the next four years.

He is seeking the views of business organisations across all sectors on crime and policing.

He said: “I’m keen that my Plan is developed collaboratively with all stakeholders, including business organisations, and is underpinned by a joint understanding of need and priorities.

“I want to build strong relationships  with businesses and involve more stakeholders in the decision-making processes for my office.

“Their contribution will be vital in helping me to shape local policing and crime priorities that will keep local communities safe, and these Business Breakfast Consultation Events will provide us with the opportunity to do so at arguably the most productive part of the day.”

He will hold a business breakfast at Dolfor Village Hall on 6 September.

If you would like to attend, or would like further information, please contact the office of the Police and Crime Commissioner at opcc.dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk or call 01267 226440 to register your interest. Places are limited.
