Witnesses sought to altercation

Witnesses are being sought to an incident between two people close to the entrance to a Newtown housing estate.

Police said a physical altercation took place between and a man and woman at around 6pm at the entrance to the Vaynor estate on Monday. They have appealed for witnesses to contact them by telephoning Newtown Police Station on 101 and asking for PC 217 Daniel Halliday.
