SatNav stolen from pick-up

A pick-up has been ransacked by thieves in Newtown with equipment stolen from within it.

The Toyota Hilux had its driver side window smashed to allow someone to gain access before they ransacked it and stole a TomTom satellite navigation device from within it, according to Newtown Police.


The incident happened between midday and 11.15pm yesterday(Sunday) at Ffordd Eglwys on the Vaynor housing estate.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to telephone Newtown Police on 101.
