A man has been injured after being attacked by a dog while attempting to stop it fighting with his own pet terrier.
Police are investigating the incident which happened in Longbridge Street, Llanidloes on Monday, 16th May.
“We are are appealing for any information or witnesses to an assault that occurred on a male by a Black Labrador dog which was running loose,” said a Llanidloes Police spokesperson.
“The incident occurred outside the vegetable store near to Church Lane between the 9am and 10am.
“A male was bitten by the black labrador whilst he tried to separate a fight between the Labrador and his terrier
“It is believed that there were three elderly persons in the area who may have witnessed the incident. If anyone has seen or heard anything please contact PC Richards at Llanidloes Police Station on 101.”
