Newtown local policing team have joined forces with the town’s library to help keep children and young people safe.

Books have been made available, which library members can borrow free of charge, to help with issues such as internet safety, bullying and road safety.

“We’re really pleased our local police team have provided these new books”, said Newtown branch librarian, Maureen Jones.

“Written especially with children in mind and with lively illustrations, they offer a great way to talk about these important subjects.”
