Area stays on flood alert as more rain falls

Mid Wales motorists are on red alert again this morning with many roads still closed in the area.

Large areas of Powys remain on flood alert today as forecasters predict more rain and high winds.

Welshpool remains one of the biggest problem areas in the country with roads still, flooded, bridges down and familes forced out of their homes.

Farmers across the region have been forced to move animals to higher ground and many caravan park owners have been experiencing flooding.
