Two new sales executives have expanded the sales team at award-winning Vauxhall dealer Arthurs of Newtown which has made a ‘tremendous start’ to 2015.
They are Andrew Jones, 34, and John Smith, 24, who are both new to the motor trade.
“Andrew and John have helped 2015 get off to a tremendous start,” said Sales Manager Chris Venables.
Originally from Llanidloes, Andrew now lives in Kerry with his wife Natalie and three children Taylor, 12, Riley, six and Poppy two. The family is also expecting a baby in June.
In his previous role, Andrew sold medical supplies for four years, but felt he needed a new challenge. Until recently he played both football and cricket for Llanidloes.
John is on paternity leave following his wife Kirsty recently giving birth to their first child Georgia Jolene.
A Newtown man, he and his family live in the town and prior to joining the motor industry he trained recruits at Laura Ashley. Like Andrew, he wanted a different challenge.
He played youth rugby for Newtown Rugby Club.
