E-lectride is an exciting new business, perfectly placed for the new normal of today, in Newtown selling electric transport including bikes, scooters, motorbikes and cars.

Back in the pre-COVID world of January 2020, Newtown-based regeneration company, Revive & Thrive expanded its core offering with the launch of an innovative new car and van business, named Revive & Drive.

While the events of the first half of this year caused Revive & Drive to take an enforced hiatus, it also allowed the company’s owners to consider what might be needed as the country comes out of lockdown and begins its long recovery. Being experts in transport they naturally turned their attention to the sector and saw that forms of electric transport, in particular cycling, are set to explode.

As such, an exciting new branch of the business, “Electride”, has been born. Electride, which will be stocking all electric transport options including e-bicycles, e-scooters, road legal electric motorbikes and scooters plus electric cars and vans,, has set itself the challenging target of becoming the biggest supplier of electric transport in Mid Wales and Shropshire.

Electride has already achieved some significant milestones by being the first e-bike only supplier in the UK of famous Italian brand Bianchi bikes.  In addition, Electride will be the only supplier of Artisan Electric and Horwin fully road legal electric motorbikes and mopeds in Mid-Wales.

To support Electride’s showroom on the Mochdre Industrial Estate in Newtown, the company has just launched its impressive ecommerce site www.e-lectride.com  which has already seen enquiries from other regions in the UK.

Through the website, in addition to placing orders, you can find hints and tips on e-transport, , details about the government’s OLEV Plug in Motorcycle Grant which is applicable to all Electride road legal electric motorbikes and scooters and a wide range of accessories too.
