Greenhous changes ongoing

Refurbishment work at the Greenhous Ford dealership on Pool Road, Newtown is continuing at a pace.

Now that the new Ford Transit Centre is fully operational, the next phase of the re-development of the site is the addition of steelwork and cladding to the main car showroom.

Speaking as the steel framework was nearing completion, dealer principal, Tony Mellish, praised the efforts of both his own staff and those of the construction team saying: “ It is never easy to work on a building when it is being used every day, but together we have found a happy medium.

“There have been significant internal changes to the dealership with the creation of new toilets and a kitchen also a much needed extension to the Parts Department.

“Greenhous has made a substantial investment in this dealership and the opening of the Transit Centre has galvanised interest in our range of Ford vans in the local area and Mid Wales.

“Once the cladding is in place over the next couple of weeks, and the remainder of the ground works are complete, we will be able to re-structure the customer parking and the pitch for new and used vehicles.

“I am certain that the Greenhous Ford dealership will be the most eye-catching in the area.”

There are still more structural changes planned regarding the after-sales side of the business which will be completed over the next few months. Then a grand re-opening of the dealership will take place.
