Maintenance Technician 

Job Overview
We are looking to recruit a fully trained Maintenance Engineer, who ideally possesses a strong background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is used to working to high standards of health & safety and quality, with a solid environmental awareness. Working as part of the Maintenance Team, the role will require a strong degree of cross-functional teamwork, but will also involve individual projects and tasks.
The role requires the engineer to carry out planned preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and facilities maintenance. There is also a requirement to be involved in and carry out a range of project work based on solutions generated through our continuous improvement approach throughout the site. The majority of tasks are either electrical or mechanical and would suit a candidate with experience in both fields. It would be advantageous to be familiar with using CMMS and to have experience in the plastics converting industry, however full training will be provided. Other duties will include general upkeep procedures and any other ad-hoc tasks, as and when required. 

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years proven experience in a Maintenance Engineering role (incorporating both mechanical and electrical responsibilities)

Trained to IEE wiring regulations standards (update training to latest edition can be provided if required)

Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office

SAP experience would be advantageous

Good communication skills, timekeeping and attention to detail
