A torchlit procession will take place in Newtown town centre on Saturday to mark the imminent departure of the Knife Angel.
The monument against violence and knife crime has been in the town since the start of the month and leaves on Wednesday. It is the first time it has been in Wales.
A procession will start at Wesley Street, next to The Monty Club, at 5pm, walking towards the Knife Angel at the Oriel Davies Gallery.
An area will be made available in front of the Knife Angel monument for people to lay wreaths and to pay their respects and take the time to reflect.
The National Monument against Violence and Aggression was unveiled in Newtown Saturday, 4 January after weeks of work and partnership between Cllr Joy Jones, The British Ironworks, Newtown and Llanwchaiarn Town Council, Powys County Council, Dyfed Powys Police and local businesses and volunteers.
